Admissions

All admissions to The Redway School must go through the Local Authority Special Educational Needs Department.

All pupils have an Education and Health Care Plan which is the result of the formal assessment of their needs, however in an emergency and in agreement with the Local Authority a pupil could attend as part of an assessment placement. 

A parental request for a special school is moderated by the Special School Heads Admissions Panel using the Local Authority Guidelines for Admission to Special Provision, although the final decision rests with a Senior SEN Manager.
