Parent Support

At The Redway School it is part of our ethos that partnership and working together with parents / carers plays a significant role in the education and care of children and young people attending the school.

Why is Parent Partnership important?

We believe that education is a collaborative enterprise involving parent / carers, staff, children, governors, the Local Authority and a range of other agencies. We are committed to establishing and maintaining an effective and purposeful working relationship between home and school. This is important in enabling all to achieve their full potential.

We aim to...

Have a strong partnership with all parents / carers.

Ensure that all communication with parents / carers is effective, clear and jargon free.

Actively involve parents / carers in the education and progress of their child.

Establish, and act upon, the views and opinions of parents / carers.

Support Group

We also have a parents / carers support group which meets on a regular basis. Information regarding this, together with training and support for parents / carers is sent home once dates and information have been confirmed at the start of each term.

Should you wish for any further information regarding our partnership with parents please email parents@theredway.net
