A successful Post-School Provision Careers Fair took place today, bringing together social care providers, education providers, parents, and school staff to explore the wide range of opportunities available to young people as they prepare for life beyond school.
It was pleasing to see such a great turn out with parents and carers of year 9 and above attending. Families engaged directly with providers to learn more about pathways, support services, and educational opportunities available after school. Parents welcomed the opportunity to discuss options and gain valuable information to help them make informed decisions about their children’s futures.
In addition to supporting families, the event provided an important professional development opportunity for school staff, enabling them to increase their knowledge of the provision available and strengthen links with local services and organisations.
The atmosphere throughout the day was positive and engaging, with attendees praising the opportunity to network, share information, and build connections that will benefit young people and their families.
